Saxon Court launches competition for flag makers at IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2021

First Base and Patron Capital, the new owners of Saxon Court, are launching a competition for participants of the MK Mandalas: Flag Making Workshops, as part of the IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2021.

This weekend (17th – 18th July) people across the community who have booked onto one of the flag making workshops, will be in with a chance of winning fantastic prizes including vouchers to Robotazia, Milton Keynes’ unique sci-fi themed robot restaurant, tickets to the Eden Project in Cornwall, and the hire of an electric vehicle for four days, courtesy of the EV Experience Centre in thecentre: mk.

As the official Community Engagement Partner for IF:2021, First Base and Patron Capital, together with Milton Keynes creative agency, Pooleyville, and MK Gallery, will form a panel to judge the flag entries.

Two entries will be selected each day (Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July) to win both Robotazia vouchers and Eden Project tickets. One overall winner will also go onto claim the prize of an electric vehicle – which can be enjoyed by an entire family over the course of a long weekend.

All entries to the competition will be photographed and showcased by Saxon Court, with the winners and their award-winning flag design displayed within the Atrium of the iconic building. *

People of all ages are encouraged to attend the free, creative workshops which have been inspired by the MK Mandalas: Kinetika Flags project. To book onto a workshop visit https://ifmiltonkeynes.org/event/flag-making-workshops
